Terms of use
Moneta estimates; it does not advise. Check anything that matters with someone licensed.
An estimate, not advice
Moneta is a free tool that estimates tax, salary, pension and investment figures from the numbers you enter and the published rules. It is not tax, pension, investment, financial or legal advice, and it does not replace advice from someone licensed to give it. Before you file, sell or commit money, check the figures with a licensed tax adviser, a pension adviser or your trustee.
What the figures leave out
Every result is a simplified model. It rests on the published rules for one tax year and on what you entered, and a small change in either can move it a lot. In particular:
- Where the law is unsettled — for example how the exchange rate enters a Section 102 capital gain, or a Section 102 grant held without a trustee — Moneta takes one reading and says so on the result. Yours, or your trustee's, may differ.
- The taxable benefit on employer pension contributions above the legal ceiling, and on severance deposits above theirs, is not modelled.
- Pension projections use an average annuity factor and the returns and fees you choose. Your own fund's factor and fees may differ.
- Investment projections and market backtests rest on assumed or past returns. Past returns do not predict future ones.
- Payslip figures are estimates from the three numbers you enter, not your employer's payroll.
- Stock prices and exchange rates come from outside sources and may be delayed or wrong.
No warranty
Moneta is provided as is, with no promise of availability, accuracy or fitness for your situation. Decisions you make from its results are yours, and, as far as the law allows, Moneta's operators are not liable for loss from using it or relying on it.
Your data and accounts
What you enter is yours, and you are responsible for it being accurate. What is kept, and where, is in the privacy notice. You can use Moneta as a guest or with an account. Settings → Delete all my data erases everything and closes the account. Moneta may close an account that is used to disrupt the service.
A link made with Share shows its numbers to anyone who has it, for 24 hours or until you turn it off.
Fair use
Moneta is for your own personal use. Do not disrupt it — for example with automated requests beyond normal use, or by getting around its limits — and do not present its results to others as professional advice from you.
Who it is for
Moneta is for adults. Do not use it if you are under 18.
Ownership
The app's text, design and software belong to Moneta's operators. The tax rules it applies are public.
Changes and law
These terms may change, and their date moves with them. Using Moneta after a change means you accept it. Israeli law applies to your use of Moneta.
