What Moneta keeps about you, where, and how to remove it.
On this device
Everything you enter is calculated and stored in this browser. Moneta sets no cookies: it keeps your data in the browser's own storage, which the app needs in order to work.
On the server
With an account, the server keeps your email address and a copy of what you enter — grants, sales, ESPP lots, holdings, assets, payslip totals and settings — so your devices stay in step.
As a guest, nothing you enter leaves this browser, except an Invest example you choose to share by link (below). The server otherwise keeps only a record that the guest session exists.
If you share the Invest tab by link, as an account or as a guest, the server keeps the numbers on that page — the form's values only — for 24 hours, or until you turn the link off. Anyone with the link can see them. Delete all my data removes them too.
The server uses this only to show you your own figures and keep your devices in step. It is not sold, not used for advertising or profiling, and not shared beyond the providers named below.
Usage statistics
Only if you allow it, Moneta records which screens you open and which buttons you use, and when. It never records amounts, salaries or holdings. For a guest it also keeps the browser and system family and the link you arrived from. You can change your answer in Settings at any time.
Others involved
The server and the website run on hosting providers, who store and carry the data above on Moneta's behalf.
If you sign in with Google, Google's sign-in script loads on the sign-in screen only, and Google may set its own cookies there. Google tells Moneta your email address and Google account ID.
Stock prices and exchange rates are fetched by the server from Yahoo Finance and the Bank of Israel. They learn which ticker was asked for, never who asked.
Payslip import reads the PDF inside your browser; the payslip is never uploaded. The model that reads it is downloaded once from Hugging Face.
Your rights
You can see and correct everything Moneta keeps in the app itself. Settings → Delete all my data erases it from the server and from this browser, and closes the account. Data is kept until then. No law requires you to give Moneta any of this information.
Minors
Moneta is for adults. It does not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
Changes to this notice
If what is kept, or where it is kept, changes, this notice changes and its date moves with it.
